CTiM Christmas Voucher Scheme

You can be part of an amazing example of the Church in action again in our community! Each year Churches Together in Malmesbury (CTiM) like to help low income families in the area who would struggle to have a few seasonal treats that many of us take for granted, so they can enjoy celebrating this special time of year too and know that the local community cares for them. Our generosity means they will be given vouchers that can be exchanged for food at a local store and last year we were able to help around 80 local families, in conjunction with the local Foodbank scheme. The continued rise in the cost of living situation means we are expecting many families will rely on these vouchers again.

If you would like to contribute, donations can be made in any of these ways:

  • directly to Malmesbury Abbey Parish Office in Holloway. Please put your donation (cash or cheques) in an envelope clearly marked ‘CTiM Christmas Vouchers’ and hand it in at the Office or put it through the letterbox
  • online through the Malmesbury Abbey website, using the Give tab with the reference ‘Christmas Vouchers’. Do GiftAid if possible
  • putting your envelope (marked ‘CTiM Christmas Vouchers’) into any of the Sunday service collections.

Donations can be made any time from Friday 1st November to Sunday 1st December.

Thank you for helping to make sure this event continues to be a great local success.

If anyone wishes to make a donation, then this is the process to follow:

  • Make any cheques out to Malmesbury Abbey PCC as the payee
  • Put ‘CTiM Christmas Vouchers’ on the back of the cheque
  • Put cheque/cash into a sealed envelope labelled ‘CTiM Christmas Vouchers’
  • Put envelope through the letterbox of the Abbey Parish Office by 1st December

Any envelopes will be collected on a regular basis from the Parish Office and banked, so they will be safe.
